お忙しい中ご参加いただき本当にありがとうございました。当初どれだけの方が参加くださるか不安でしたが、結果は110名を越える方々に事前登録頂き、当日もオンラインで常時70-80名に加え、現地参加者30-40人と非常に盛況でした。一方で配信機材トラブルにより数回中断してしまったことをお詫び申し上げます。またその他運営に不慣れな点が多く皆様にご不便をかけしてまったかと思います。今後はよりスムーズな進行・運営ができるよう今回の反省を生かしていきたいと思います。どうぞ今後とも本領域をよろしくお願いいたします。
6/23（金）に本領域のキックオフシンポジウムを開催します。開催場所は領域代表の宮本が所属する理化学研究所（埼玉県和光市）およびオンライン配信を行う予定です。領域紹介だけでなく、生物の群れ行動や集団意思決定研究のスペシャリストとして村上 久先生（京都工芸繊維大学）と豊川 航先生（コンスタンツ大学）の２名をゲストスピーカーとしてお招きする予定です。ぜひご参加頂き、本領域のスタートアップに関して皆様のご指導・ご意見をいただければ幸いです。

場所：理化学研究所（和光市）およびオンライン配信。
事前登録：オンライン参加の場合は6/20（火）までに下のGoogleフォームより事前登録をお願いします。それ以降はcontrarian.biologyあっとgmail.com（アットマークに変換してください）に直接お問い合わせください。ただし準備等の都合で対応できないことがありますのでご了承ください。オンサイト参加の場合、理研所属の方は登録なしでご参加いただけます。理研に所属されていない方は入構許可証を手配する必要があるので事前登録をお願いします。

ゲストスピーカーの紹介
村上 久 先生（京都工芸繊維大学）
村上先生（https://sites.google.com/view/hisashimurakami/home）は動物の群れ行動がご専門です。集団の全体性と個体の自由な運動の共立をテーマに、ヒトの歩行時の集団行動をはじめ、シオマネキやコメツキガニ、アユの集団行動を対象として、実験とモデルの両方を駆使した独創的な研究をされています。2021年には歩きスマホを題材にした研究成果によりイグ・ノーベル賞（動力学賞）を受賞されております。
豊川 航 先生（理研CBS-トヨタ連携センター/コンスタンツ大学）
豊川航先生（https://sites.google.com/site/watarutoyokawa/home）は集団意思決定がご専門です。ヒトを対象に計算モデルをベースにした行動実験を行うことで、集合知の発生やフリーライダー問題について研究をされています。本年度より理研CBS－トヨタ連携センターの計算論的集団力学連携ユニットのユニットリーダーとして着任されました。また「人間性の進化的起源（勁草書房）」の訳本も執筆されています。
Kickoff Symposium 2023.06.23 @Riken (Wako) + Online
The talks will be in English!!
We will have a kickoff symposium of this project on 23/June/2023 (Fri). The project aims to shed light on the biological implication of the "contrarians" in the societies of humans and animals living in groups. We will introduce our hypothesis and research projects in flies, fish, monkeys, and humans. We will also invite two outstanding guests who are specialists in collective behavior and group decision-making: Dr. Hisashi Murakami (Kyoto Institute of Technology) and Dr. Wataru Toyokawa (Riken CBS-BTCC/University of Konstanz). Please join our symposium and drop your ideas, comments, and criticism, which will guide our new departure!
